Our most recent full-time pastor had been Steve Crouch, who served from 1983 until his retirement in 2019. Due to the Pandemic a pastoral search has been on hold, with various ministers serving to preach in the interim.

Pastor Steve graduated from North American Baptist Seminary, Sioux Falls, SD, and served Seventh Day Baptist churches in Pennsylvania and New York before coming to the Bay Area. He is a native of Wisconsin, where he graduated from Milton College.

He and his wife Becky served as foster parents to about 35 foster children over a 30 year period.

Pastor Steve is grateful for the dedicated workers in the Bay Area and especially for some who travel long distances to meet together each Sabbath. He prays and longs to see other Seventh Day Baptist congregations established in Northern California.
